Jason Segel is famous for his portrayal of Marshall Eriksen in the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother. He made his acting debut in the late 1990s. His first major role was, Stoner freak Nick Andopolis on the short comedy-drama series Freaks and Geeks. He then appeared in recurring character in CSI and on Undeclared. From 2005-14, he played in the How Met Your Mother. He has also appeared in several films and movies including The Muppets (2011), This Is 40 (2012) and The Discovery (2017).
