Earlier this month, Britain’s Got Talent fans got to see singer Jacob Jones popping out the question to his girlfriend Fayne Compton moments after his successful audition.

Now, Jacob had another surprise up for Friday’s live semi-finals, as he announced that he and his fiancée were soon to be parents. He announced that the pair is having a baby before adding that even his family is unaware of the news.

Joking around, the shows co-hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly placed their hands on their heads and said:

If he gets to the final what the hell will he announce then?

Even though Jacob warmed hearts with the pregnancy news, the judges were not quite impressed with his performance. Amanda Holden said that his act had become more about the story of his love life than his singing.

However, David Walliams disagreed Amanda and said that singing a song for love of life was gorgeous.

Unfortunately, Jacob’s performance did not earn him a place in the finale as the place went to anonymous magician X and daredevil Jonathan Goodwin.

The 27 years old singer had wowed the judges with his magical voice during his audition. After the audition, he said that he would like to do one more thing.

As his then-girlfriend and now fiancée Faye got up on stage, the father of one got on one knee and popped out the question. Faye accepted the proposal while crying with happiness, leaving Simon Cowell in tears.
