English singer-songwriter and musician Chris Martin and American actress and model Dakota Johnson, who started dating back in October 2017, are no longer seeing each other.

The reason behind their separation is reported to be Dakota’s unwillingness to have children with Chris.

A close source reported that the Coldplay frontman called it a quit with the 29 years old actress after they began arguing for months over whether to start a family together.

One of the close friends reported that Chris has always made clear of wanting more children as soon as possible, but his now former girlfriend’s career has really taken off and she just wants to think about right away.

Their friend said:

It got to the point, last month, where light seemed to flick on in both their heads and they realized they were pulling in completely opposite directions - so they decided to call it a day.

The friend also explained that the singer splashed out £4.5million beach house located in Malibu hoping that the pair would settle down and start a family.

However, his plans shattered after Dakota admitted that it was not on the agenda as she was nowhere near ready for that.

The pal also admitted that both Chris and Dakota are broken-hearted because their relationship did not work out. The pair was last seen together in November of last year.

The 42 years old Chris has two children with his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow; 14 years old Apple and 12 years old son Moses. Chris and Gwyneth Paltrow got married in 2003 and got divorced in 2016 after being married for thirteen years. Gwyneth once claimed that Chris is just like her little brother.
