Hope Charlotte Hicks is the director of interim White House Communication for President, Donald Trump, succeeding Anthony Scaramucci, well known as the title holder of White House Director of Strategic Communications, also was Trump's longest-serving political aide.

Early life and education

Hope Hicks was born on 21st October 1988 in Greenwich, Connecticut, U.S.A. Hicks was raised there as well. Hicks was born to Caye Ann Hicks and Paul Burton Hicks III. Hicks is white in ethnicity and holds an American nationality.

Hicks joined Greenwich High school, where she was co-captain of the lacrosse team. She graduated in 2006. After her graduation, Hick attended Southern Methodist University, and majored in English and played lacrosse on a club lacrosse program, she helped get started and got graduated in the year 2010.

Career

Hope Hicks began as public relations with the New New York City firm, Zeno Group. She started working for public relations firm Hitzik strategies in 2012, working for its client, Ivanka Trump (Donald Trump's daughter), on her fashion line, and then on the Trump Ventures too.

In August 2014, Hicks joined the Trump Organization full-time. She worked for Ivanka Trump inside Trump Tower, helping expand her fashion label, and modeling for her online stores.

After five months, Donald Trump earmarked Hicks, who was just twenty-six years old at the time, for the role as press secretary in January 2015, when planning for his potential presidential run.

It was announced that Hicks would collaborate with the Trump administration, in the newly created position of the White House Director of Strategic Communications on 22nd December 2016.

Hicks is also paid the highest White House Salary; $179,700, equal to the salaries of two other top members, former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon and former White House chief of staff Reince Priebus.

The following year in January, Hicks was mentioned on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, having ‘’served as one-woman press team for Trump’s historic presidential campaign.

Once, Hope was criticized by some about a statement, she issued, on 29 May 2017, about President Trump’s character and personality.

On 16 August 2017, Hicks was made the interim White House Communications Director. Pilotico labeled her the ‘’Untouchable Hope Hicks,’’ as she was considered as one of the few White House officials whose job was safe.

Hicks resigned as communications director in February 2018. The news was confirmed after the White House confirmed to the New York Times that Hicks planned to resign on February 28, 2018.

Hicks was unable to give time to her private life and Corey. Corey was fired from his work because of his misbehavior with a female reporter in June 2016 where Hicks worked in his defense. At present, Corey is a political commentator at CNN.
