Phillip Phillips, American Idol 11 winner, has become a father. The 29-year-old singer and his wife, Hannah, welcomed their first child, a son named Patch Shepherd, on November 10.
The proud father took to his Instagram on Thursday, announcing the birth of their little bundle of joy. He wrote: "Sunday morning out little boy made a fast entrance into the world. I cried more than he did." He further wrote:
Hannah was an absolute rockstar in delivery and she has been such an amazing mom these last four days.

Phillip Phillips' shared the first picture of his son SOURCE: Instagram @phillphill Phillips and Hannah announced the upcoming arrival of their first child back in July when they also revealed they were expecting a baby boy. They shared a photo of the couple alongside a white onesie with a word "gentlemen" and a picture of Hanna's ultrasound.
Days after announcing her pregnancy, Hannah took to her Instagram, saying she "had anything but a fairytale pregnancy."
Tracking back Phillips and Hannah's relationship, the lovebirds met at an even for his sister's charity Misson Change in 2008. Shortly later, they began dating and quickly became one of the power couples.
Seven years after their first meeting, Phillips and Hannah got married on 24th October 2015 at a wedding attended by around 250 guests.
