Chevel Shepherd Crowned The Winner Of The "The Voice" Season 15
The season 15 of the American singing reality show, The Voice wrapped up Tuesday night with crowning 16-year-old Chevel Shepherd the title.
Shepherd's last night win marks the second victory for the coach Kelly Clarkson in a row in her second season as a coach, who won last season's title with her contestant Brynn Cartelli.
Shepherd left Team Jennifer Hudson's Kennedy Holmes, Team Blake Shelton's Kirk Jaym and Chris Kroeze in winning the title. Coach Clarkson seemed shocked as Shepherd was announced the winner over the first runner-up Kroeze.
She jumped onto the stage and gave a huge hug to the 16-year-old champ where her family including her grandfather ran up to the stage to celebrate her victory. Kirk Jaym and Kennedy Holmes came third and fourth respectively.
Kelly Rowland, Rascal Flatts, and the Doobie Brothers performed at the star-studded evening. Winner Shepherd was paired up with Dan + Shay for the rendition of their current hit Speechless.
