Bethenny Frankel’s Ex-husband Jason Hoppy’s Arrested
The Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel’s ex-husband Jason Hoppy’s arrest featured on 6 July’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York City season 9. Bethenny Frankel’s co-star Carole Radziwill opened up about Frankel’s struggles to costar Dorinda Medley.
The conversation was provoked by Hoppy’s arrest, news of which had just hit the press as the cast filmed their ski mountain getaway in Vermont. Radziwill told Medley while scrolling through her phone “Something major happened this weekend with [Hoppy]”, she added,
I can’t believe it’s in [the press] though. She’s going to die. She won’t admit this, but she’s a little more sensitive. It’s pretty major, and it’s a game-changer.
Carole then read the news of Hoppy’s arrest – reminding Dorinda to ask, “Has he lost his mind? No wonder she’s so upset”,
On January 27, Hoppy then approached Frankel and a friend at 6-year old Bryn’s school in the morning time, and tried to evoke a fight saying ‘'I will destroy you, you can get all the lawyers you want, you’ve been warned,’'.
An NYPD spokesperson told people.
Hours later, he was arrested and charged with hara s sment in the first degree and stalking in the fourth degree. A restraining order against Hoppy was also issued by a judge at his arraignment.
Hoppy was arraigned on additional charges, including one count of stalking in the third degree, another count of stalking in the fourth degree and some additional conducts. The case was adjourned to Aug 8 for a decision on motions.
After Hoppy’s arrest, his former attorney Robert C Gottlieb told Hoppy was over his ex-wife's unjustified actions. He was concerned only for his daughter and intended to fight these false charges.

On the last two seasons, Bethenny shared her emotional and traumatic divorce that she says was like a torture. Frankel won the custody.
But she doesn’t understand why he texts numerous insulting text messages calling her, ugly old and bad mother. However, Jason’s attorney has denied all the allegations against him.

Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy finalized their divorce in July 2016. The couple started living separately in 2013. Bethenny and her ex-husband Hoppy were only married in 2010.

The couple also welcomed a daughter together, who is living with Bethenny after she won the custody. Bethenny had a prenuptial agreement of$475K with Hoppy before marriage, so they did not have any financial issues.
