Ben romanced with Kaitlyn Bristowe on the show but was eliminated on the sixth week. Shawn eventually became the winner of The Bachelorette season 11. Nick and Ben were the first and second runner ups respectively.

It's been two years since they started. He had already started an affair with Stacy following his exit from Bachelor in Paradise in 2017 but he didn't make their relationship public until September 2017.
