South African-American Actress Charlize Theron Revealed She Had Her Head Locked While Watching Borat

Actress Charlize Theron has recently revealed she spent five days in hospital after she laughed too hard watching 2006 Borat. The Long Shot actress, 43, appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Wednesday where she revealed her condition after watching the mockumentary.
She explained she went to watch the movie with a pre-existing injury in her neck; a herniated disk in her neck and while she laughed too hard during the film, she got her neck locked due to which she needed to leave the theater in an emergency ambulance. She said,
A few of us went to go… and halfway through that movie, I laughed so hard that my neck locked up. And, like, an ambulance had to take me to the hospital, and I was in the hospital for five days.
Borat that came around 13 years back follows the title character played by Sacha Baron Cohen across the country on a mission to meet Pamela Anderson. Theron said, she hasn't finished the movie yet and couldn't pick it up from where she left it off. She told,
I didn't finish the movie! I've never, like. fully finished the movie.
Host, Meyers, 45, joked "it's a risk now!"
Further in the show, Theron opened up about her surprise gift from Rihanna. She shared she received a t-shirt in the mail on her birthday. She added, she and Rihanna, 31, had the same publicist, Amanda Silverman. Theron explained,
Rihanna had made a T-shirt of the birthday greeting that my publicist gave her which literally was like, ‘To my most favorite client ever.'
She said,
And Rihanna wrote in the following email, ‘I’m making a T-shirt of this and sending it to Charlize.’
Famous for her work on Monster and Tully, Charlize's new project Long Shot is in theaters Friday, 3rd May.
