Wetterlund has once experienced an unsuccessful married life. She married writer and producer Andy Haynes in 2013. The stand-up comedian and her former husband decided to exchange the wedding vows while they were super drunk.
According to some sources, the former couple got married on February 23, 2013. They exchanged the vows in Palm Spring, CA.
Sharing her wedding experience, Silicon Valley star said in an interview in 2016:
"My wildest wedding date? My ex-husband, who I married at my wedding,”
She then added:
“We got super drunk and we stole a golf cart and we drove out to the desert — we were in Palm Springs — and he was so high that he wanted to go back. We were in the middle of the desert, and it was beautiful. I was like, ‘Why do you want to go back?’ And he’s like, ‘What if there’s, like, guys out here?’ And I was like, ‘It’s four in the morning.’ And he’s like, ‘But think about it, if there are guys out here, they’re not cool.’ And I was like, ‘That’s true.’”
Their relationship, however, didn't last long as the pair got divorced. Even after the divorce, they are still good friends.
