Television, film and theater actress Stephanie Niznik, best known for her role as Kell Perim in 1998 movie Star Trek: Insurrection and as Nina Feeney in Everwood,has died. She was 52.
Variety announced the death news on Friday, 12th July, however, cause of her death is not revealed yet.

The Maine-native is also known for her appearance on popular TV shows like Grey's Anatomy, NCIS, CSI: Miami, and Lost and The Twenty. In 2017, Niznik reunited with the Everwood stars at the Television Critics Association in honor of the show's 15th anniversary.
Fellow costars, including Tom Amandes, Treat Williams, Emily VanCamp, Debra Mooney, Justin Baldoni, Gregory Smith, and John Beasley were present on the reunion.
Born on May 20, 1967, Niznik graduated from the Duke University and studied Genetics along with Theater and Russian. She completed her master's degree from Cal Arts before starting a career in acting.
Niznik is survived by her mother, stepfather, and brother.
