Early Life Of William Zabka
William Zabka was born on 20 October 1965 in New York City, the United States of America as William Michael Zabka. He is the son of Stanley William Zabka, a director, writer and composer and Nancy (Heimert) Zabka, a business liaison, producer, and production assistant.
Zabka's father was also the assistant director of The Tonight Show Starring Johhny Carson during the first two years of the show and also worked as a production manager on various motion pictures such as Forced Vengeance.
He grew up with two siblings; sister Judy Zabka and brother Guy Zabka. Both siblings are proficient musicians, singers, and songwriters.

Zabka began his career as an actor in the movie, The Karate Kid in 1984. His appearance as Johnny Lawrence was highly appreciated. He portrayed the role of a martial artist in the movie which inspired him to learn the martial art of Tang Soo Do in real life too. He later earned the second-degree green belt.
In the early 1980s, he appeared in the movies and the television shows like Just One of the Guys, Back to School, The Equalizer, and National Lampoon's European Vacation where he mostly played the bully characters. He then tried to step away from playing those roles as he was "sometimes hassled in public by random people because of the villainous characters he was best known for".

During the 1990s and 2000s, he acted mostly in independent movies while studying to be a filmmaker. Then in 2003, he wrote and produced the short movie Most which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2003. The movie won various awards including Best of Festival at the Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films in 2003. It was also nominated for an Academy Award.
Later in 2007, Zabka directed as well as starred in a music video entitled Sweep the Leg. This video involved cameos by various cast members of the movie The Karate Kid including Martin Kove and Ralph Macchio.
