Billy Gardell is married to Patty Gardell. The couple exchanged wedding vows on September 30, 2001. The couple now complete are going to complete two decades at the end of this month. The pair have barely shared information about their private life with the public.
During this beautiful marital journey, the duo shares a child. After a couple of years of marriage, they were blessed with a son, William Gardell in 2003.
As of 2021, Mike & Molly star and his son and wife live in Los Angeles, California. The family of three occasionally visits Billy's parents, who reside in Florida.
Troubles Losing Weight: His Weight Loss Journey
The seriousness of the 52-year-old actor's weight increased after he was diagnosed with diabetes type 2. He was to know about his health issue during a regular check-up in 2017.
Fortunately, there was no need to undergo any surgery. But he willingly chose and worked on diet plans and therapy. Like everyone, he revealed that he doesn't have a desire to have any surgical process.
Talking about his weight loss journey, the 8 million worth owner Gardell confessed his weight gains problems and saying "I grew fact." After that, he disclosed he lost 45 pounds (20 kg), appearing in The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.

Similarly, Billy also stated he focused and wished to 36 kg (80 pounds) more. In 2019, he disclosed his health worries. It has already been more than 11 years; he had quit smoking and been sober.
Moreover, in an interview with Wicked Local Cambridge, Pennsylvania native shared he is dedicatedly following his diets plans, working out, and doing every possible thing to keep himself healthy. He also stated:
"I feel like my whole life has been quitting things."
After the multi-talented star realized his weight gain was not best for his health, he struggled to lose weight. He now has been visiting a therapist and following his dietitian to keep the size under control.
