Wendy Williams was speculated to be dating a new man around a month after filing for divorce from her husband of two decades, Kevin Hunter. However, she said she is ready to mingle once again, but not this fast! During the Tuesday's episode of The Wendy Williams Show, Williams opened up about her life post-breakup.
The 54-year-old Dancing with the Stars alum addressed her photos with a handsome young man from the NYC event on Saturday, May 11.
She clarified the man was just a member of her show's security team and nullified the speculation about her new relationship. Williams said of her recent split from husband of over two decades:
You don't just throw away 25 years lock, stock, and barrel.
At one point, the television host said she wouldn't take her steps back when it comes to loving again, but at present, she is concerned about her divorce. She said,
I'm really reclaiming my life. I'm working on my divorce, pleasantly, right now. I am a single woman running around New York.
Williams added,
I go out a lot because I’m a good -time girl. I’ve got to tell you something right now. As a mature, almost-single woman, I like to have fun. I’m right now a young and pretty New York City girl … I don’t have a boyfriend but I must admit I am rediscovering my love of men … I do date. I date pretty often.
Williams filed for divorce from Hunter following Hunter's more than a decade-long affair with a woman named Sharina Hudson was revealed. Moreover, it was also revealed Hunter has a daughter with Hudson whom they welcomed in March this year.
