Max Holloway has defeated the titleholder Max Holloway to become the undisputed UFC Featherweight Champion on Saturday. The most awaited match of the night held at at the Jeunesse Arena in Rio De Janeiro lasted for three rounds which saw Aldo's defeat via TKO.

Halloway with a victory over Aldo has extended his winning streak to 11 fights and has made the record of 18-3. He has not been defeated since August 2013 dropping a decision to Conor McGregor.
However, Aldo suffered a defeat for the second time in his last three matches, and both cost him the title. He won 18 fights in between 2005 to 2015 without a single defeat.
Holloway got Aldo flush on the jaw with a hard right hand late in the third round, dropping Aldo level on his back. Holloway immediately jumped and unleashed a progression of shots as Aldo attempted, however, could not shake him off.
Holloway kept unloading on Aldo from top position, driving him to conceal. Ref. John McCarthy halted the battle at 4:13 in the third round with 47 seconds remaining to end the round.
