Two Iowa Teachers Were Found Dead In Backyard Swimming Pool
- Two school teachers were found dead after drowning in a pool in Davenport earlier this week.

Two Eastern Iowa teachers were found dead after accidentally drowning in a backyard pool in Davenport. They were found dead earlier this week.
The Davenport Police Department identified two men as Mark Anderson of Eldridge, Iowa and Kenneth Anderson of Bellevue, Iowa.

Investigators believed after a preliminary investigation that both the men died from accidental drowning, however, an official report on their death is yet to be released.
Police reported they were called to the scene Monday night after an anonymous man discovered the victims in the backyard swimming pool. Officer released a statement on Monday night on Facebook saying:
On Monday, July 22nd, 2019 at approximately 8:53 pm Davenport Police Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Jersey Ridge Road reference someone finding two deceased adult males in a pool.

According to People, the victims were not the residents of the house where they were found dead. The house reportedly belongs to John K. Wisor, who is also an owner of the 11th Street Precinct Bar & Grill in the village of East Davenport.
