Tracey Wigfield is an American comedy writer who worked as a writer's a s sistant on 30 Rock and won a Primetime Emmy Award for it in 2013. She is also an actor, creator and producer in NBC television sitcom Great News.

She has been married to a comedy writer, Adam Countee with who she shares an adorable daughter, Celine.

Born in Wayne, New Jersey, Graduated From Immaculate Heart Academy

Tracey Wigfield was born on June 19, 1983, in Wayne, New Jersey, the United States of American, to parents Dave Wigfield and Kathy Wigfield.

She was raised along with her sister Ashley Wigfield in Wayne, New Jersey. Ashley is an actress who has appeared on Jean-Claude Van Johnson (2016), Runaways (2017) and Great News (2017).

She completed her early studies from Catholic schools and while in school, she participated in acting and dance. While in high school, she used to record comedy skits with a friend by her parents' video camera.

Wigfield then attended Immaculate Heart Academy in Washington Township, Bergen County, New Jersey, from where she graduated in 2001.

She later joined Boston College, a Catholic university, from where she completed her graduation in theater and English in 2005.

Has a Successful Career

Following her graduation, Tracey Wigfield took an internship at CNN. She was later transferred to the Late Show with David Letterman.

In 2007, she worked as a production a s sistant on the ABC television sitcom, Knights of Prosperity. In the same year, she worked as a writer's a s sistant on the second season of NBC hit series, 30 Rock.

Wigfield has also written several episodes for the 30 Rock series finale along with Tina Fey. The two won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series.

She was then brought to California by Jack Burditt to write for the Fox and Hulu television, The Mindy Project. Wigfield is also the creator of the NBC TV sitcom, Great News, of which Tina is an executive producer.
