The couple started dating when they reached their 20s and married after three years of the affair. Shortly after that, the couple permanently left the Netherlands and made their way to Canada. They have five children Bianca Beets, Kelvin Beets, Michale Beets, Monica Beets, and Jasmine Beets. Their younger daughter Jasmine Beets, sadly, died after two and a half month of her birth in 1992.
Their daughter Monica is also a major part of Gold Rush who started her working at an early age and used to get paid on a daily basis. The couple in their spare time spend time in Maricopa, Arizona.
