Early life and Education
Robert spent his wonderful childhood in a Roman Catholic family in Towson, Maryland. He is the son of Michelle Roberts, is an Australian politician, and has been a Labor Party member of the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia and Albert Roberts.
During his childhood, Thomas Roberts attended Catholic school. After that, he moved Calvert Hall College High School for graduating. In 1994, he attended Western Maryland College, where he completed his graduation with a major in communication and a minor in journalism.
Moving to his professional career, Thomas Roberts first began his job for a small cable station in Westminster. After that, he moved to San Diego, California, where he worked as a writer and producer for NBC affiliate KNSD. At the end of 2001, he moved CNN, a cable news channel that was based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Thomas Roberts was honored with an Emmy Award nomination in 2002 for his investigation into a local puppy mill. On May 1, 2007, he resigned from CNN to pursue new journalism chance in the Entertainment Tonight and The Insider.
