In 2013, Yeh and her then-boyfriend moved to Nick's farm in East Grand Forks, Minnesota. Leading a blissful life for almost a couple of years on the farm, the couple finally exchanged wedding rings in 2015 in a private ceremony only in the presence of their family and close friends.
Back in November 2018, Molly made an announcement that she and her life partner were going to become parents soon. The duo was on cloud nine when they were blessed with their first child, Bernadette Rosemary Yeh Hagen on March 30, 2019.
The romantic pair gave a surprise to all of their fans through the Instagram handle Molly Yeh by welcoming their second daughter. Her name is Ira Dorothy Yeh Hagen born in February 2022.

Molly Yeh was born on May 22, 1989, in Glenview, Illinois, to parents Jody Yeh and clarinettist John Bruce Yeh. She grew up with her older sister, Jenna, who is also a chef. Likewise, she also has a younger half-sister named Mia.
Talking about her academics, Yeh attended Glenbrook South High School and the Midwest Young Artists Conservatory. Later, in 2011, she graduated from Juilliard School holding a Bachelor of Music degree in percussion.

Coming towards her career, the American cookbook author published her first book titled Molly on the Range: Recipes and Stories from An Unlikely Life on a Farm (Rodale Books) in October 2016.
