The major equipment used in Playing Golf are Golf Balls and the Golf Clubs. A golfer can have maximum of 14 Golf clubs in his golf bag. Unlike other ball games, it do not require a standardize area. What it needs is an open space and enters the golf balls in the series of holes. The difficulty of the game is measured by the length of the grasses in the course. There is no hard and fast rule in Golf. You just need to stick on your ball and series of holes. The rules of Golf are set by the R&A, spun off from The Royal Golf Club of St. Andrews (1754) and the United States Golf Association (USGA). The official rule book on its back cover states on the principle fairness of rules as:
“Play the ball as it lies, play the course as you find it and if you cannot do either, do what is fair.”
