29 years old Lewis grew up in Texas at The Woodlands outside of Houston. She graduated from The Woodlands High School in 2003. At the age of 11, she was diagnosed and found suffering from Scoliosis and was treated by spinal fusion while she was in high school.
Because of the surgery, she missed her first collegiate golf season. Her family was so much support for her golf career. After recovering from surgery, Lewis took part in Southeastern Conference Tournament in 2005 and she succeeds to became SEC Freshman Golfer of the Year.
She also won the Women’s Western Amateur in 2006. In the 2007 season, she was unable to perform in SEC Tournament but was successful to win NCAA Division I Championship and was also selected Golf Digest Amateur of the Year. Lewis started her professional golf playing career by winning medalist honors in Garland, Texas, and qualified for her first tournament as a professional.
She has competed in seven events on the LPGA tour in 2008 and won over $247,000. She was not a member of the LPGA Tour before 2009. In 2009, Stacy stood up in the ninth position at McDonald’s LPGA Championship which was presented by Coca-Cola.
