Emmy Awards

Emmy Awards or simply Emmy is an award given to appreciate and recognize the excellence in the television industry. It is a very popular and highly distinguished award in television arena which is similar to Academy Award given to the film industry, Grammy for music and Tony Award for theatre. The award is presented by ATAS, NATAS and IATAS. Each of these bodies is responsible for administering a particular set of Emmy ceremonies. Emmy Award has been started since 1949. The Emmy Award has several ceremonies to mention are Primetime Emmys, Daytime Emmys, Sports Emmys, News and Documentary Emmys, Technology and Engineering Emmys, International Emmys and Regional Emmys taking place at different times of a year.
