Philippa Northwest, In No Hurry To Leave For Hollywood
Philippa who recently played in Home and Away is in no rush to follow in her former colleagues' footsteps by moving to Hollywood after she wrapped up filming the TV series.
She has no intention to move to LA permanently instead the brunette has plans to focus on her local projects.
She said,
'I love Australia and I love what we are producing here and I think there are great initiatives in place to have females in more diverse casts.'
Further, she stated,
"If the work takes me overseas, that is fantastic and I will go with the right project but I’m not about to just jump ship willy nilly,” she said of following in the footsteps of her soap alumni who have gone on to become big stars internationally."
Last year, she was declared the face of Australian organic skincare range Wotnot. She maintains low key during her red carpet appearances and also likes less or no make-up. She said that though make-up enhances the beauty she promotes inner beauty and confidence.
As of now, she is busy in her local projects but plans to star in Hollywood features in the near future.
