Royal Baby Born: Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Welcome Their First Child

On Monday, the royal family confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have finally welcomed their first child together. It’s a baby boy for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

The newly born baby is Queen Elizabeth’s eight great-grandchildren and the seventh in the line to the British throne.

In a statement, Kensington Palace revealed that Meghan went into labor in early Monday morning. Prince Harry was by her side.

Their first child was born at 5:26 a.m. weighing around 7 pounds 3 ounces. Talking and sharing the experience with the reporters, Harry revealed that it had been the most amazing experience that he could ever have possibly imagined.

Harry added:

How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension, but we're both absolutely thrilled and so grateful to all the love and support from everybody out there. It's been amazing.

When asked the name for the newborn royal baby, Harry said that the pair was still thinking about names.

The former Hollywood star Meghan Meghan’s baby bump was one of the most photographed and searched in the history, but for the attention received in the womb, this royal birth was a private affair.

Meghan and Prince Harry ditched the decades-long of tradition by not having their baby at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in London.

That’s the hospital where Princess Diana and Kate gave birth to all of their children, and where they posed for the world’s press on the steps outside with their newborn child.

The pair recently moved at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, west of London where they opted for a far more private birth.
