Roselyn Sanchez was born Roselyn Milagros Sánchez Rodríguez on April 2, 1973, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She was born to father Efraín Sánchez and mother Olga Rodríguez and is the youngest among four siblings. She is of Hispanic ethnicity and Puerto Rican by nationality.
She was interested in acting and dancing from an early age.
