Odeya Rush was born Odeya Rushinek to Shlomo Rushinek and Maia on 12th May 1997 in Haifa Israel. In Hebrew, her name, Odeya means Thank God. Rush holds both Israeli & American nationalities and ethnicity wise she's Ashke - Jewish.
She grew up along with six brothers. When she was young, she along with her family moved to the United States due to her father’s job as a security consultant in Alabama. She then attended N.E. Miles Jewish Day School in Birmingham, Alabama. Later, she joined a public school after her family moved to Midland Park, New Jersey.
Career
Odeya Rush, at the initial phase of her career, worked as a model. She appeared in several advertising campaigns for fashion brands, Gap, Hilfiger, Guess, and Polo Ralph Lauren among others.
At the age of 13, Rush made her Hollywood debut from police procedural crime drama TV series, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit alongside Mariska Hargitay, Ice-T, Christopher Meloni, and Richard Belzer among others.
