New Mom Claire Holt Opens Up About Breastfeeding Struggles

The Vampire Diaries star, Claire Holt has recently shared the self-doubt and hard experience of herself being a new mom. On Monday 8th April, she expressed her struggle while feeding the baby and her pain from it through her social media platform.

She posted the picture of her herself with a son, James sleeping on her shoulder while she has tears in her eyes. She has captioned the post saying,

This was me yesterday after struggling through a tough feed. Exhausted, in pain, feeling defeated. I’ve had many moments like this since my son arrived. My only concern is making sure his needs are met, yet I often feel that I’m falling short.

She also added,

Motherhood is an overwhelming combination of bliss and self-doubt. I try to remind myself that I can’t be perfect. I can’t be everything for everyone. I just have to do my best and take it one hour at a time. Thankfully, this little guy is worth every second of struggle. Mamas out there - tell me I’m not alone??

After her post, many of her costar and other celebrities including Amanda Seyfried, who is the mother of a two years old daughter with her husband Thomas Sadoski has supported and adviced her in her comment section of the post.
