Claire Holt is a very beautiful Australian actor and a well-known personality. She is widely recognized for her significant roles in the 2017 survival horror movie, 47 Meters Down as Kate. She has performed in many other television shows like H2O: Just Add Water, Pretty Little Liars and The CW series, The Vampire Diaries.
Early Life and Education
Holt was born as Claire Rhiannon Holt on June 11, 1988, in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. She holds an Australian nationality, belonging to the white ethnicity. She has altogether three siblings. She has two sisters named Madeline Holt and Rachel Holt and a brother named David Holt.
Holt is the daughter born to John Holt (her father) and Ann Holt (her mother). She grew up with her family in Brisbane, Queensland.
Holt attended the Stuartholme School in Toowong and graduated from the school at the end of 2005. She was actively involved in several sports like swimming, volleyball, water polo, and Tae-Kwon-Do during that time. She was also in the school choir.
Career
Holt appeared in the Network Ten children’s television series, H2O: Just Add Water in 2006. The show was a hit and has earned a Logie Award and Nickelodeon Australia Kids’ Choice Award. She left the show in its third series.
Soon after that, Holt signed on for the sequel to the 2007 film The Messengers, entitled Messengers 2: The Scarecrow.
Holt has appeared in several TV series and movies in her career. In addition to television and movie roles, Holt is active in several advertisements. She has made her appearances in several advertisements for Dreamworld, Sizzler, and Queensland Lifesaving. BuddyTV ranked her number 55 on its TV's 100 Sexiest Women of 2011 list.
Holt appeared in the TV series, The Vampire Diaries in August 2011. She was cast for the backdoor pilot of the spin-off of The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, where she played a role as Rebekah Mikaelson.
