She garnered fame after making her appearance in the Discovery reality series Homestead Rescue with father Marty Raney, and brother Matt. Misty Raney was born as the youngest of four children of father Marty Raney and mother Mollee Raney. She was born in Sitka, Alaska on November 9, 1981. She has three siblings, Matthew Raney, Melanee Raney, and Miles Raney.

Misty Raney didn't take any formal education, however, learned how to survive in the drastic condition like in Alaska during her childhood. Misty, along with her siblings, grew up doing log work, stonework, and extracting natural building materials from the land.

Misty also learned to farm during her childhood and knows how to grow food in the tough terrain of Alaska.

Misty Raney is happily married to Maciah Bilodeau. Talking about her husband Maciah's profession, he is a carpenter and surfer.

The lovebirds are sharing a strong bond of love for nearly two decades. Raney and her husband Maciah have not revealed when they started dating and when they got married, however, some online sources have claimed they have been together since 2000.

Misty Raney adopted her husband's last name to her name following their marriage and changed her name to Misty Raney-Bilodeau officially. The husband-and-wife built a beautiful house, which spreads in an 800 square-foot area, in Hatcher Pa s s, Alaska. The couple also owns a house in Hawaii.

The Family Of Three Split Their Time Between In Alaska And Hawaii According To Season 

During the summer, they live in Alaska, and during winter, they migrate to their Hawaii residence. During the winter, the Bilodeau duo loves surfing in Hawaii with their son, Gauge Bilodeau, whom they welcomed on 14th April 2011. Gauge also loves surfing and has already learned a lot about it.

Meanwhile, the family engages in their family business during the summer and spend their time in Alaska. Misty runs her family business during this time while her husband helps her doing her business.
