The sportsperson, 28, took to Twitter on Tuesday, March 3, to announce his wife's pregnancy. The post featured a short video clip from the gender reveal party.
Noting that their upcoming son due in August 2020, he wrote, "Baby Trout due August 2020!!"

He later shared another tweet to express how happy and excited the couple is for their upcoming child.
He wrote,

Jessica first found out about her pregnancy on "Thanksgiving eve" but Trout was not there with her at that time.
Trout, who plays for the Los Angeles Angels of MLB, popped the question to his then-girlfriend Cox with skywriting proposal in July 2016. One year later in December 2017, they tied the knot in a lavish ceremony.
