Meryl Davis and Fedor Andreev have finally taken the next step in their six-year-old relationship.
In case you missed the big news, the Olympic figure skater announced that she is engaged to the former professional figure skater Fedor Andreev, earlier today on Instagram.
She declared the engagement by showing off her gorgeous square cut canary yellow diamond in a new Instagram photo.
She simply captioned it with the proposal date: "7/13/17."

Fedor, 35, is the son of Meryl’s long time coach, Marina Zoueva who was also a figure skater. In 2003, he took home the bronze in single skating at the 2003 Canadian Championships, finishing in the fourth place at the 2011 Russian championships before retiring due to injury that September.
She also took to Twitter on Tuesday, writing, Thanks, everyone for the really lovely well wishes! Very kind and appreciated."

The engagement is another big move for the Michigan-based couple who’ve been together for about six years. As their marriage is around the corner, they couple have already started practicing their parenting skills- they adopted a dog, Bilbo, together earlier this year.
