Gandolfini died of a heart attack. He was on vacation in Rome with his family when his son, Michael, found him unconscious in his hotel bathroom. Paramedics rushed the actor to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead from a heart attack. His funeral was attended by friends, family, and many of his Soprano co-stars.

Marcy Wudarski was born on 16 February 1967 in Hudson, Florida, to Edward B. Wudarski and Mary Ann Wudarski. Her father, Edward, was a retired army lieutenant and retired comptroller at the Department of the Army in Washington.

Wudarski received her education at Bayonet Point Junior High School in Hudson in 1981. It is not known if she pursued higher education. She later became a film producer and worked on the 2013 movie Wish You Were Here.

Marcy's son, Michael is an adult now and is pursuing his dream to become an actor, just like his father. Wudarski is the mother of Michael Gandolfini and is often recognized as the wife of actor James Gandolfini.
