On Tuesday evening, Grunewald’s husband, Justin Grunewald, confirmed the sad news in an emotional post on his Instagram. He posted a picture that featured two running side-by-side.
In the post, Justin admitted that he would never be able to able to fill the gaping hole in his heart and to fill the shoes that she had left behind. He continued claiming that her family loves her dearly as do her friends.
Justin thanked their friend, HGTV star Chip Gaines after he promised to match any donations made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and Gabe’s foundation.
