Mandy Moore Has Made It To The Basecamp Of The World’s Highest Peak, Mount Everest. She Has Arrived At Mount Everest Base Camp.
The highest peak of the world, Mount Everest, which has been proved to be the deadly than usual this climbing season with eleven climbers falling victim to the mountains’ death zone.
Overcoming all those dangers and heartbreaks, American singer-songwriter Mandy Moore has managed to trek up to the mountain’s base camps.
Thirty-five years old singer has doc u mented her journey from the world’s highest peak’ base camp and uploaded on the social media platform, Instagram. She posted a series of photos marking her accomplishment.
Mandy uploaded a joyful picture of herself and her fellow climbers jumping into the air after reaching the base camp. She even opened up about her ten days long journey in a set of accompanying the text.
Mandy wrote:
'There is so much magic in these mountains. They represent an adventure in the grandest form and in a language all their own.
Mandy went on to plug her trip sponsor Eddie Bauer and her guide Melissa Arnot Reid who became the first-ever American woman to ascent ascend and descend Everest without using any supplemental oxygen.
Though she only climbed up to the South Base Camp in Nepal, the journey still took Mandy and her climbing pals about 17,600 feet above the sea level.
Talking about her journey and difficulties, Mandy claimed that besides being hydrated and staying nourished, breathing is also the vital key to fight against altitude sickness.
Mandy also went on to praise her climber guide who has climbed to the summit of Everest six times.

Shortly after reaching basecamp, Mandy and her pals took a helicopter back to Kathmandu, Nepal.
Though Mandy took about ten days to reach up to the base camp, it can take around eight weeks total all the way up and down Everest.
