After graduation, Lori Wachs started working by joining Goldman Sach's Equity Risk Arbitrage department. She worked for a while and after gaining a few experiences in the company, she joined Delaware Investment.

Soon she became the Portfolio Manager as well as the Vice President of the company in 1997. In 2010 she worked for lunching Cross Ledge Investment alongside with her two Delaware Investments colleagues, which makes 13% of the HFR all Funds Universe in 2013.
