Scrappy was born on January 19, 1984 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America. He is American by nationality and belongs to black ethnicity. He released his second independent album Prince of the South 2 on October 19, 2010 through Real Talk Entertainment. He has appeared in various TV shows, songs, programs, movies, as well as music videos and interviews. He released he first single from the album entitled "Addicted to Money" on September 8 2009 but it failed to reach the Billboard charts and it was dubbed as a promo single. On June 26, 2012 he released his next album The Grustle.
