In Touch, which was first to report the split news, confirmed on Wednesday, May 6, that the lesbian couple has called it quits.
The relationship between Delevingne and Benson first surfaced in August 2018 when they showed her PDA at Heathrow Airport in London. The couple made their relationship official with a special announcement during Pride Month in 2019.
Four months later, Delevingne spoke up about the "incredible" feeling of being in a relationship with Benson during a candid interview with Elle UK.
She told the outlet,
I’m just better when I’m in love. That doesn’t have to mean with someone. It can also mean with myself. It just feels incredible when you’re not alone, when you’re facing the world with someone else.
Benson previously dated Ryan Good, Nat Wolff and Tyler Blackburn. Delevingne, meanwhile, was previously in relationships with St. Vincent singer Annie Clark and Michelle Rodriguez.
