Dwyane Wade was born to Jolinda and Dwyane Wade Sr. on the South side of Chicago, Illinois. He had a very rough childhood and witnessed many criminal activities. Wade joined Harold L. Richards High School in Oak Lawn and started to play basketball. He later went on to become the star player of his high school. He played College basketball for Tom Crean at Marquette University and started his NBA career from Miami Heat.
Gabrielle Union was born to Teresa, a phone company manager and social worker, and the Sylvester E. Union, a business executive, and military sergeant. She spent her childhood in Pleasanton, California. She was admitted to the University of Nebraska and was later transferred to Cuesta College. She has received a degree in sociology from UCLA.
