Kelly Dunn is a television actress famous as Valerie Boone on ‘Fringe’ and Allison Knight on the NBC drama ‘Blindspot’. Dunn has also worked with some A-grade actors in Hollywood which includes Dylan Baker, Michael Weatherly, Christopher Jackson among others. She grabbed the attention after she won some prestigious awards as an aspiring actress.

Kelly Dunn was born Triste Kelly Dunn in Provo, Utah on January 14, 1981. She was born under the birth sign Capricorn which defines her as an ambitious, conservative, determined, practical and helpful person.  Dunn is of American nationality and she belongs to the White American ethnicity.

She completed her Bachelors in B.A. in Psychology from Arizona State University and she enrolled at the Northwestern University (Postgraduate Clinical Fellowship, The Family Institute at Northwestern University) and received M.A. in Counseling. Dunn was interested in acting since her early childhood and she attended the North Carolina School of the Arts (NCSA) in Winston-Salem, North Carolina after completion of her Master's degree.

She studied theater acting at the NCSA where she even got some opportunities to work in student films along with the co-learners and future collaborators Zach Clark, Brett Haley, Aaron Katz, and Brendan McFadden.

In 2010, Filmmaker Magazine named Kelly Dunn as one of the 25 New Faces of Independent in their Summer Issue, and the Los Angeles times referred her as a "break out star" for her roles in the independent films like Cold Weather and The New Year.

In 1995, She was featured as Miho in TV Mini-Series Marriage. Later in 2004, she was starred for an uncredited role in Mysterious Skin. A year later, she appeared in Little Chicago as Kammy. The same year, Dunn also played Liz in Building Girl. In 2006, the actress was featured in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as Gloria Kulhane. Since then, Dunn has appeared in several other movies and television series including Cold Weather, The New Year, Golden Boy among others.
