GQ special correspondent and political commentator, Keith Olbermann has announced his retirement from political commentary in all media venues. The 58-year-old journalist announced his retirement during his online program The Resistance.
The former MSNBC host and anti-Trump video blogger said,
I'm confident now even more so than I have been throughout the last year that this nightmare presidency of Donald John Trump will end prematurely and end soon, and I am thus also confident that this is the correct moment to end this series of commentaries.
Olbermann added,
No illness, no scandal, no firing. Just, I've said what I've had to say. It was as obvious as I made it seem.
Olberman said that he didn't enjoy the show which he did for free and charity. After he announced his retirement, many critics including the President Donald Trump's eldest son Trump Jr. expressed their mixed views on his decision on social media.
Donald Trump Jr. mentioned #winning with the twitter link to Olbermann's retirement announcement.
Announcing his retirement, Olbermann also claimed that Trump will either be removed from his reign or he will resign from the White House and it is inevitable.
