Kealia Ohai

Kealia Ohai born Kealia Mae Ohai is an American soccer player who is the captain of the Houston Dash and she is also one of the members of the United States women’s national soccer team. Despite having problems in her right eye, she has become a superstar player and has won several awards and millions of hearts.

Kealia Ohai was born to parents, Ben Ohai(father) and Cindy Ohai(Mother) on January 31, 1992, in Draper, Utah. She was raised along with her sister, Megan who previously played soccer at USC as the former youth national team member. She is of American nationality and belongs to Mixed ethnicity.

Regarding her education, Kealia Ohai went to Alta High School where she joined soccer. In her school days, she won a two-time Gatorade state player of the year awards, three-time All-State selection, three-time first-team high school All-America, 2010 NSCAA National High School Player of the year and three-time 5A soccer MVP.  

Later on, she went to the University of North Carolina and graduated from there.

Kealia Ohai was pa s sionate about soccer since her childhood days and started taking training in her school days. She joined North Carolina during her college days where she played from 2010 to 2013. In the year 2012, she was a member of the US U-20 Women’s National Team when her team won the World Cup.  

In the first year of her career, she was announced as the most outstanding player as she scored a goal during the semi-final match and the first goal just in two minutes.

Later in 2014, she started her senior year's career with the Houston Dash where she is still going on. She made her international debut for the senior U.S team on October 23, 2016, against Switzerland.
