Forty-seven years old the Oscar winner Jared Leto, this year, collaborated with Gucci for his showstopping look, which is fitting since the fashion home is sponsoring the Met’s Costume Institue.
Jared was the showstopper wearing a long sleeve silk red gown accompanied by diamond encrusted detail along the bodice. The accessory that stole the show was decapitated head that he carried like a clutch. The decapitated head was an exact wax-like replica of his own likeness.
However, the concept is not a complete surprise as Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele debuted the head clutches during Milan Fashion Week back in February.
Many people viewed that Jared could not top his past Met Gala looks but this year he totally did it. In the last year, the singer-songwriter channeled Jesus Christ in Gucci for “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination” theme.
