She was then promoted to a reporter of the network. she became an anchor only after 4 months, She worked diligently and went on to garner a lot of respect from her audience and fellow a s sociates. However, she decided to leave broadcast journalism in 2010.

Her interest slowly drifted away and she thus joined a public relations firm Coltrin & Associates located in New York City, in the same year. She worked as a managing director while at Coltrin & Associates.

After merely working for 2 years, Ibanez decided that she should return to her journalism profession. She was always driven by television and this time wanted to lay a hand on news anchoring.

Ibanez became a news anchor for News 12 Connecticut. She showed excellence in all the three live morning broadcasts that she did for News 12. She went on to work for News 12 until December 2014.

After leaving News 12 Connecticut in December 2014, she moved to the prestigious Fox News Channel as a correspondent. She became the channel’s anchor for the “overnight breaking news” segme
