Sadly, on May 18th, her family from Morristown, Arizona, announced the news of her death via Instagram. As per the post, she died on Tuesday (May 14) after suffering a urinary tract infection. The picture was captioned “Some days are grumpier than others.”

Grumpy Cat’s owner released a statement claiming that the family is unimaginably heartbroken to announce the death of beloved Grumpy Cat.
The statement also clarifies that despite being care from top professionals and loving family, the beloved cat encountered complications suffering urinary tract infection, which became too tough for her to overcome.
The statement added:
She pa s sed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, May 14, at home in the arms of her mommy, Tabatha.
