Gabrielle Anwar, an English actress, is known for her roles as Margaret Tudor on the English TV series The Tudors. She has appeared in numerous films and TV series including Fallen Angels, Sherlock: Case of Evil, Mysterious Island and iMurders.
She started her acting career in the mid-1990s. In 1996, she made her television debut from the TV drama show Hideaway. Since then, she has been active in acting fraternity. She has been playing Lady Rapunzel Tremaine/Victoria Belfrey in the TV series Once Upon a Time.

Gabrielle Anwar was born on 4 February 1970, in Laleham, Surrey. She was born to award-winning filmmaker Tariq Anwar and mother Shirley Hills.
Her paternal grandmother was an Austrian Jews and her paternal grandfather was an Indian Muslim. She is of American nationality who gained the US citizen in 2008. She is of mix descent; Indian and Austrian.
Anwar completed her primary and middle schooling from the Laleham C of E School in 1982. During her final year, she participated in the school concert and school play. After finishing her high school, she went London and enrolled drama and dance at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.
