France’s Paul Pogba made it 2-1 putting France ahead. He gets a toe on the ball and loops of Mat Ryan and off the underside of the bar. It's mighty close, but a glance at the referee's goal-line technology watch shows it's over!
The first goal of the tournament was scored by Griezmann in a penalty shootout whereas the second goal scored at the tournament scored by Jedinak was also through the penalty shootout.
Mile Jedinak has continued a solid Australian tradition at the World Cup. Three penalties given, three penalties scored. With his reputation from the spot, it wasn't likely to change. He netted one in the 3-2 cla s sic against the Netherlands at 2014, as well as two against Honduras in their intercontinental play-off!
