Former Real Housewives of Orange County alum Alexis Bellino's divorce from her husband of 13 years, Jim Bellino is finalized, multiple sites reported.
Bellino and her husband Jim filed doc u ments in California Monday officially signifying their marriage is over. Alexis filed for divorce in June citing irreconcilable differences.
The former husband-and-wife tied the knot on April 16, 2005, and they share three children; James and twin daughters Melania and Mackenna. They have already agreed to share custody of their children.
The couple announced their divorce in a joint statement where they also confirmed to share their children's custody. The statement read:
It is with heavy hearts that we inform the public of our mutual decision to end our marriage-but it's important to us that you know we made this choice together, with love, and as the best decision for our children's future.
The statement continued:
We hold one another in the highest regards as spouses, and especially as parents. We have agreed on 50/50 custody of the children, and we ask that you respect our privacy by not theorizing about the reasons for our divorce.
Alexis was previously married to her college love Jeff Barry for two years. She tied the knot with Barry in 2002 and remained in the relationship until 2004.
