Faye Marsay is an emerging actress who is best known for her appearance in the popular television series The White Queen, Game of Thrones, Glue, and others. Faye Marsay was born on 30 December 1986 in Middlesbrough, Cleveland, North Yorkshire, England. Her birth name is Faye Elaine Marsay and her birth sign is Capricorn. 

Marsey attended Laurence Jackson School, Guisborough. Later on, she studied at Prior Pursglove College. She went on attending the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Bristol where she performed on the dramas including Hard Times, The Good Soul of Szechuan and others.

She was highly interested in football during her teenage, if not acting she had pursued her career as a footballer.

As a theatre student in the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Faye Marsay performed in several dramas. Immediately after her graduation, she played the main role of Lady Anne Neville in the British television series The White Queen, along with Rebecca Ferguson, Eleanor Tomlinson, Janet McTeer, and others. The series was premiered in June 2013.   

Following her breakthrough role in the small screen hit The White Queen, Marsay appeared on the character Candice Pelling in the comedy-drama television series Fresh Meat, alongside Zawe AshtonJoe Thomas, Charlotte Ritchie, and many more.

Continuing her television roles, in 2014, the actress starred on the television mystery miniseries The Bletchley Circle. The same year, she appeared on the big screen from the LGBT-related historical comedy-drama film Pride. The film was nominated on the BAFTA for Best British Film

Marsay then appeared on the British miniseries Glue in 2014. In the series, she portrayed the role of Janine Riley. In 2015, she went on playing the role of Katie Springer on another comedy-drama television series My Mad Fat Diary.   

In 2015, the actress notably starred on the popular American fantasy drama television series Game of Thrones. In the drama, she played the role of The Waif. The same year, she gave her voice for Amy in the video game Need for Speed

In 2016, Marsay played the leading role of Nina in the miniseries Love, Nina. Lately, the actress appeared on the 2017's television thriller miniseries Bancroft. In the year 2017, she starred in the war drama movie Darkest Hour and in the romantic film You, Me and Him. As of 2018, she starred on the comedy-drama series McMafia as Katya Godman.
