3rd Rock From The Sun Actress Elmarie Wendel Pa s ses Away At 89

The 3rd Rock From the Sun actress, Elmarie Wendel pa s sed away at the age of 89 on Saturday, July 21, her daughter J.C. Wendel confirmed.
Wendel, who is also an actress, took to her Instagram on Saturday announcing her mother's death. "you were a great mom and a bada s s dame," she captioned the photo revealing the 100th episode of 3rd Rock From the Sun.
J.C., however, didn't reveal the cause of her mother's death. Soon after she revealed the sad news, fellow 3rd Rock star Jim Beaver tributed Wendel on Twitter. "I've just heard from her daughter JC that my friend and colleague from 3rd ROCK FROM THE SUN, Elmarie Wendel, has died," he wrote on Twitter.

Elmarie Wendel was born on 23 November 1932 in Iowa and grew up with her four siblings. Her other film credits include Going Under, Rumpelstiltskin, A Bag of Hammers, and The Lorax among others. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer "J.C." Wendel.
